Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT) aspires to become the premier aviation training institution specialising in aircraft maintenance technology in line with the increasing needs of national aviation development programme as laid down in the government blueprint.

With world class infrastructure, highly trained and multi-skilled teaching personnel and a comprehensive training complying with technical standard and industry requirement, its graduates will be able to meet the demand of current and future aircraft maintenance technology.

Kem U Best

Kem U Best is an entrepreneurship camp where students are grouped and trained on how to run a business and make profits. This is the 4th Kem U Best organised by UniKL and it had received favourable response and participation from students.

UniKL President/CEO, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri remarked in his welcoming speech, “Kem U Best is the best platform for students to explore and assess their ability and interest in entrepreneurship. This camp’s top priority is to gather students in a group to come up with their own company or a business plan at the end of this camp. This is the 4th Kem U Best that we organised and Insyaallah more series will continue in November 2010”.

SIFE UniKL encourage all UniKL student to take part in this program, hopefully with the knowlegde gain from this program. By that student will be more intrested in the enterprenuer where you are the boss of yourself.

What is Technoprenuer

A technoprenuer is an entrepreneur who is technology savvy, creative, innovative, dynamic, dares to be different and take the unexplored path, and very passionate about their work. They take challenges and strive to lead their life with greater success. They don't fear to fail. They take failure as a learning experience, a stimulator to look things differently and stride for next challenge. Technoprenuers continuously go through an organic process of continual improvement and always try to redefine the dynamic digital economy.

University Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) has it vision where it will produce at least 1000 tecnoprenuer each year. SIFE UniKL has embrark the way to help the vision of the university to fufill it target.

The SIFE program prepares university students for the real world by challenging them to address real world problems today. As SIFE students go about the process of organizing their team, developing community outreach projects and participating in a series of competitive events, they develop teamwork, leadership and communication skills that set them apart from the average university student. It’s the reason so many top companies have identified SIFE as a leading source of effective, responsible business talent.

Our career connections initiatives are intended to enhance the connection between SIFE students and alumni and SIFE donor companies. These initiatives are typically organized at the national level, and depending on the country, involve a variety of activities such as career fairs held in conjunction with SIFE events, online job postings, career publications and other exclusive content and resources.

Leadership Connections

About SIFE

SIFE is an international non-profit organization that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. Participating students form teams on their university campuses and apply business concepts to develop outreach projects that improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need. An annual series of regional and national competitions provides a forum for teams to present the results of their projects, and to be evaluated by business leaders serving as judges. National champion teams advance to the prestigious SIFE World Cup. In addition to the community aspect of the program, SIFE’s leadership and career initiatives create meaningful opportunities for learning and exchange among the participants as well as the placement of students and alumni with companies in search of emerging talent.

SIFE UniKL MICET The History

Established since 3rd March 2006 and UniKL MICET has been the first representative for the SIFE UniKL. SIFE UniKL has joined the SIFE MALAYSIA competition on last 2006. From the initial member of 10 person, SIFE UniKL MICET has grown up to 20 member and growing as we speak. Although SIFE UniKL MICET is consider a small group of people but we strive to be the excellent student body that is drive by a vision and mission to see the tecnopreneurial is the medium to help people.
